    Pros

Hours and benefits are really good. Company believes in a quality of life for its employees. They really care about people....

    Cons

Pay is a little soft, not really the place to work if you are use to high gross income...

I have been working at DCH Auto Group full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Really great peole to work for/with. Great company. Very accomadating- right when I was supposed to start i had a death in my family. They let me start the following day, no problem at all. And told me to spend that day w/my family. :)

    Cons

Only 6-7 paid holiday(observed) days off a year. In addition to your Paid Vacation, personal &sick dates

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I wish we had off the day after Christmas and the day after new years this year. Since new years eve & Christmas are both on Thursday's this year. We should have the Thursday & the Friday off. It seems real silly to go back to work for one day before the weekend.

I worked at DCH Auto Group part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, very flexible with your schedule (especially since I went to school)

    Cons

A little bit of nepotism. HR department would schedule me little hours and give others more hours even though I had an open schedule.

I have been working at DCH Auto Group

    Pros

The Hours to work are convienent. If you want to have a place to grow this is a good start

    Cons

The sales staff is lacking experience. There are to many No's in there vocabulary. They do not pay your worth, instead they blame you for their own managerial problems. I see it in the mechanics faces that they are not happy because they do not have proper stock and the mechanics wait along time for there supplies to do there job which makes the customers upset.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of watching the numbers on the screen. Spend a couple of days in your departments and watch and hear what goes on in the forefront of your business. Whether it is sales. Service. Parts. Internal and managerial

I worked at DCH Auto Group

    Pros

High stress low pay management that don't care about their employees

    Cons

Nothing is good about this company. They have no employee values. They don't care about any of their employees. If they could they will make you pay to work there

I worked at DCH Auto Group full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Many dealerships throughout nj and ny.

    Cons

Management moves around constantly. I worked for DCH for five years. In five years I had three different GMs and seven different GSMs. Worst part is renogotiating your salary and schedule every time this happens. I loved my job but needed more stability as far as money, schedule and comissions. I am at a family owned dealer now two years and counting and they have been consistant with everything.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop moving the managers around as much. Make sure they are quAlified before hiring. Also, just because you are a great closer it doesn't make you a great manager. Managing a group of salesmen is not an easy task. Closers and managers should be separate.

I have been working at DCH Auto Group full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Because it is a corporation you won't get cheated out of time off and such.

    Cons

The only thing that is constant is change. They bring in new management and give them six months to fix years of problems. Then they let them go. They continue to create jobs and then take them away end of year. Just to add then again with a Month or so.
Also they no longer have a criteria for hiring anyone. Strippers, x cons. Everyone is welcome.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

First impressions are important. Dress codes should be mandatory. Stop letting new managers bring "their crew" from previous dealer with them. It always leads to unfair treatment to the veteran staff. Way too many clicks.
