    Worker Exploitation

Deliver Driver (Current Employee) Boise, ID

ProsNone that I can think off

ConsDDI claims employees to be "contractors" as a means to circumvent minimum wage laws. The pay by commission can come out to be way less than minimum wage. Drivers are also responsible for providing their own gas/insurance/equipment and must pay to become a licensed contractors. Worked for a company that partnered with DDI, before partnering with DDI we were paid minimum wage, after partnering, our wage dropped to around 4$ an hour. Whether or not this is legal is subject to debate and interpretation, but there is no doubt that this is an unethical practice.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo not exploit your workers to gain a competitive advantage.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Anaheim, CA

ProsVery nice staff and knowledgeable people that you can learn from. Very dedicated CEO.

ConsNot enough recognition for your work and they do not value employees as much as they should.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease revamp some of the processes as they are not modern and really cripple the company.

Unprofessional and unfair unless you're one of the buddies.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThe way they schedule is planned so badly that you will be able to get a lot of overtime especially at the end of the month.

ConsYou'll be screamed at and talked down to. You'll be blamed for mistakes and won't be trained. You'll work for someone with no experience because they are friends with the right people. You will never be promoted or advance from the position they hired for. No raises at all.

Advice to Senior ManagementRealize that not everyone you hire has to be a 20 year old girl that agrees with everything you say. Say thanks every now and then even to the people you don't have happy hour with.
