I have been working at DECO

    Pros

Good pay for that line of work, issued firearm

    Cons

Monotonous job, very little opportunity for advancement, no matching 401k contributions. Also, it takes 1-2 years to get a permanent post so if you don't like driving somewhere new or having a different schedule every week, this would be a con. Could be a pro too though- helps break up the monotony.

    Advice to Management

I didn't have an issue with management. The cons are just due to the structure of that industry.

    Pros

Steady Job and good facilities to work in. The Federal staff treats us like we are there employees which makes things more bearable.

    Cons

Micro Managing and want's to pay substandard wages compared to the other locations in OK

    Advice to Management

Don't forget your good employees and treat them like you say they are

    Pros

An okay company to work for.

    Cons

None that I can think of. But I wished the company offered employee benefits to contractors. Very political at times and you were sometimes hired because of who you knew and not because of your skills. Management had favorites who benefited from that.

    Advice to Management

Have better and more capable POC's at job site

    Pros

Decent pay for a student, choice of random hours, able to study at work

    Cons

unorganized, very little structure to organization.

    Advice to Management

slow down growth of company, and focus on stabilizing what is already in place, or the company will get a bad reputation of employee turn over.

    Pros

-DECO is great for people that have been fired from other companies due to poor performance -DECO will allow ALMOST anyone to work for them

    Cons

-The Pros are also Cons. Alot of DECO employees have been fired from other companies due to poor work performance. These employees bring these poor skills to DECO and it is tolerated. -Management is unacceptable! Supervisors need to step up and do their jobs. -The pay is also unacceptable. I worked overseas away from family and friends with DECO. I could have stayed in the States and made more. There was NO benefit; away from family and friends, less money, poor work environment.

    Advice to Management

I strongly hope that management gets a clue as to what's really going on within the company. Overseas post are in need of new Stateside management.
