2) extremely non flexible about work from home and vacation time

Pros

DDS gives you opportunities to be promoted or move between departments, but it's up to you to network into those positions.

Cons

Salaries were mediocre, great disparity in the motivational levels of employees - some people work extremely hard, others just don't care (which can be frustrating).

Ability to form strong relationships with peers due, although sadly due to effects of poor management. Benefits package is good.

Cons

Incompetent management, trickle down from the top clearly indicates that they only care about the almighty dollar and not at all about their people, nor the creative process.

Advice to Senior Management

See cons above and take them to heart. Stop placing incompetent people in leadership roles, and know that until you change things, you're going to continue to lose your most valuable players.
