Increadibly competent people in many diverse areas, friendly and very international work environment. The company's independent status, noble purpose and values make you feel that you make a difference instead of just putting money into shareholders' pockets. I am constantly stunned by the number of challenging and diverse projects we are involved in across the globe and that level of expertise in the organisation.

Cons

Poor performance is not always dealt with by management. A company with strong engineering culture, where the attention to details sometimes stiffles good implementation of initiatives.

the top management of dnv usa is scandinavian. almost all of the management is scandinavian on expat contract..they lack local knowledge and do not have a clear direction
