    Approves of CEO

I worked at DFC Global full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Invest in technology, listen to employee opinions, group atmosphere, very helpful people, not too much pressure. Pretty Good Place :)

    Cons

A bit strict with time of coming in and going home. Pay is ok but could be better with bonuses, days off also ok but could have more personal days, need more vacation days.

    Advice to Management

Let your employees come I and go home at a more flexible hour. Otherwise a good place to work. Throw in more vacation days please.

  2. Not the worst but needs improvement

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

Flexible work environment, some really good and knowledgeable people, it's a all-hands on deck kind of company but it allows for good experience and growth

    Cons

every project is a top priority, company culture is relatively non-existent even though they are trying to improve it

Working with the customers and building ongoing relationships with them

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at DFC Global full-time

    Pros

Good IT management team, a lot of collective experience

    Cons

Losing people at a steady clip, and a lot of these people are 'the good people' not the dead wood

    Advice to Management

It's no longer 1995 (or even 2005), your approach to things like 'work from home' is outdated. Your approach is creating (or created?) a culture of clock watchers.

Nothing to provide that you should not already know.

    Recommends

    Pros

The manager I had was the best. This company also recognizes its employees with employee appreciation week and christmas party. It is a fun place to work and meet new people

    Cons

This place does not pay enough for all of the work they do. When I worked there I did so much and put up with so much from the customers that I know I was very underpaid

    Advice to Management

Don' worry so much on making the Managment in P.A so happy. Focus more on the customers

  11. Historically lots of opportunites but culture at an all time low

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at DFC Global full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Various development opportunities (at least prior to 2014) Interesting sector/products Great team spirit below senior management level

    Cons

Constant kneejerk reactions and reprioritisations Staff not valued since private equity takeover - redundancies, office closures, stress levels... Some members of senior management paid for 'nothing' roles

    Advice to Management

Consultants and agencies can't solve all problems. Stop thinking short-term and communicate strategies to the wider business.
