I have been working at DIcentral full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

*Family friendly and encourages you to balance work with family *Heath conscious and encourages you to eat healthy with fresh fruit weekly and reimbursement for gym membership. *The employee's are friendly, helpful, and most are friends. *They celebrate great months with their employee's with craw-fish boils, ice cream, and other fun activities. *Management is open to listening to it's employee's.

    Cons

*Small company so room to move up isn't large. Opportunities are there but you have to go over and above to get them. *Salaries may be lower than industry standard but the trade off for job satisfaction is worth it. *It is an international company so sometimes there are difficulties working with people outside the US.

    Advice to Management

None, So far I'm happy with everything.

I worked at DIcentral full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Interesting & challenging technology. Awesome co-workers.

    Cons

CS micro-manger Joined company when department was small and had awesome managers. I was promoted several times. After returning from medical leave and Assistant manager was promoted to manager (current) I was as they say "thrown under the bus". I played a vital role in growing the department and was disappointed when I was not supported on tasks assigned, or given competent resources

    Advice to Management

Give more consideration to the human element and appreciate key contributors. Company needed stronger HR department. VERY little help was available and retaliation was practiced.

I worked at DIcentral full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Decent benefits -A few decent co-workers

    Cons

-Not flexible, regardless of what they may state in the interview -Terrible management, and HR team -Lack of communication -SIGNIFICANTLY more work than employees -Does NOT tend to their customers needs -Does NOT put money where it needs to go, ie. hiring more employees, providing adequate materials etc.

    Advice to Management

Understand that people have lives, and families, and most are doing the best they can with what they have, it is okay if someones situation isn't fit for the position, but rude, disrespectful attitudes are not acceptable. Do not tell your future employers one thing in the interview, and tell them that you accept their situation until you hire them, and it is not the case. Take time to thoroughly train your employees, and give them time to understand their job, and the position, and their tasks, do not throw them in to a job because you have way too much backed up work, and expect perfection.
