    Not so sure...

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGood vacation schedule, generous PTO for new hires. That's about it.

ConsComplex product, very small raises, limited opportunities to advance. Generally uninspiring.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive better raises to keep your employees! Reward superstars with bonuses.

    Small company struggling to grow

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    San Diego, CA

ProsProfitable company, good access to upper managerment; small company feel, minimum supervision. Most of the senior management team has been in place since company inception. A good stepping stone company.

ConsVery complex product. Reacts to market/technology changes too slowly; low wages and small raises. Company runs a very tight ship. Small staff, most employees wear multiple 'hats'.

Advice to Senior ManagementSpend more time on strategic planning based on market and technology trends.

    ProsSmall, great access to management

    ConsSoftware too complex to support/deploy/upgrade

Advice to Senior ManagementIt would be very helpful to get involved in the challenges of Individual Departments and to help them resolve it. I believe this will help with setting realistic expectations and getting a company wide insight into potential resolutions

    Sink or swim attitude

ProsSome of the people there are really great. Most of the positions require little supervision.

ConsThey ONLY train on the company product, yet you are expected to know more. Helpdesk is micromanaged to death, while Tech Support is given free reign. Most of the techs will specialize and then keep the information to themselves. If you are not in with the popular crowd, good luck.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe employees are an asset and should be treated as such.

Great Place to work within a challenging and interesting industry

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    San Diego, CA

ProsThe company is devoted to enhancing the finanical and clinical success of our customers. Happy customers provide positive reinforcement of doing a great job. This provides a great deal of job satisfaction.

ConsThe company has a small company feel. There is no room for dead weight. You need to be productive to stand out. Most employees are doing multiple tasks with such a flat organization.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe more open about communicating during the year about the finacial position of the company and its progress in meeting goals.

Decent place to work...but definitely no frills.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    San Diego, CA

    ProsThree weeks of vacation
    Small company feel
    Minimal micro-management
    Friendly environment
    Flexible with family issues
Very complex product with lots of areas to learn
Many people stay for a long time

ConsVery frugal with pay, raises and promotions
    No corporate atmosphere
    Opportunities for growth very limited
Fragmented departments with frequent communication breakdowns
    Lack of strong leadership
    Competency is not always rewarded
CFO is HR Manager (conflict of interest?)

Advice to Senior ManagementThe corporate environment is not very inviting and the average worker feels like a dime a dozen. Praise is handed out by the teaspoonful and creates a lack of desire to go over and beyond.

This is not the Sales Job you're looking for

    Sales (Former Employee)

ProsTechnical support team excellent. Great people work in support.

ConsManagement lives in a bubble. Has no idea what is going on in the market- and frequently rips off their customers in pricing. Good portion of senior management has no experience selling the product.

Advice to Senior ManagementSpend some time with the reps in the field. Talk to your employees- not just the 'management team'.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
