Pros
Salaries are fair and the company is small, so it's easy to get to know the staff. Senior management, mid level management and supervisors are primarily in the same building.
Cons
Management is not supportive of suggestions from staff. Be cautious of what they promise in interviews! They tell you of benefits during the interview process that they do not keep! The company operates with total chaos - reactive and not proactive! Quality problems with the product are massive and lots of time is spent repeating the same work over and over. They even send product to customers that they know is defective, then later have to come back and fix the problems! Most days are spent cleaning up problems that could have been avoided with proper management of issues. Upper management is very rude and disrespectful of employees and our jobs are threatened if we don't abide by upper management's directions. It is by far the worst employer I have seen or heard in my entire career! I do not use this language loosely or emotionally - I literally mean this is the worse company I've ever seen in terms of operations and morale. I strongly urge potential employees to search elsewhere and not consider a career at DRI Corporation!
Advice to Senior Management
Learn what is going on in your building regarding morale because you currently don't understand and are clueless. Management is very disrespectful and needs to learn basic interpersonal and leadership skills. Your people are your strongest asset, so at least act like you appreciate them.
