    Pros

    The job is enjoyable it you like to talk to customers. You are at a different location every week.
    The company started providing Ipads to enter orders, replacing the old, worn out machines we were using.

    Cons

    Large pay cut. Constant pressure to increase sales. No sales training. Old, worn out vans, problems with customer deliveries, out of stock issues, not enough delivery people. No management support at store level.

    Advice to Management

    Start a sales training program, advice on how to overcome objections. Improve out of stock issues for basic equipment. Repair company vehicles. Help employees become better salespeople rather than telling them they need to sell more.

    Pros

    Good Pay and Benefits, Not much else.

    Cons

    Poor local and corporate leadership, company is not in touch with customer or employee needs. Way too many chiefs in Corporate and not enough Indians on front lines. Company is very cheap when it comes to buying tools to run the business in the field, or developing employees.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees and customers, ask them how you are doing. Quit fixing the things that aren't broken.

    The people I work with are amazing it was a good run while it lasted.

    Cons

    Unfortunately the company will be moving to Lakeland FL leaving many people without a job.

    Secure work environment. 100% commission so you know how to drive your income.

    Management very disorganized. Always trying to throw someone under the Bus!

    Great Coworkers!!!! Always helpful!!!! Enjoyable, makes my day past.

    Closing call center & moving to another state. Alot if people losing their jobs! Hardly offers full-time

    Pros

    DSS was a wonderful company to work for. Tom Harrington, current CEO was an absolute pleasure to work with. Having had the position and opportunity to work with all of the C-level executives, they all worked at knowing all associate names, if there were 200 associates at SQ, each of them probably knew at least 75% of names, and acknowledged 100% of the associates if seem walking in the hall or shared an elevator. They are also very good at acknowledging hard work and will take the time to either call or send an email to say "thank you". The HR and payroll departments work extremely hard to insure that associate benefits are correct and that paychecks are right and on-time.

    Cons

    There is a certain level of support that is not followed thru on. You will meet with someone to express issues or concerns with someone you believe you can trust and will have your back, and although that is very often the case, sometimes the really very important issues are not followed up on.

    Advice to Management

    In my opinion, as the company continues to lose employees who are true assets, the lesson of what support means in both words and actions will be learned. Hopefully it will be before anymore loyal and hardworking associates are lost.

    The people are terrific and the products are wonderful.

    The only comment I have is that one must be ready for constant change but this exists with most companies today.
