    Pros

If you want to work at a company that puts the customer and innovation first, this is it. This focus drives a fast paced innovative environment where everyone gets to have an impact. You get to have input into creating new offerings, business models and pushing the company toward the high demand sectors of the IT market. They just signed strategic deals with Cisco and Oracle and are right in the middle of the big data and SaaS buzz! It's very rewarding to see the direct impact you can have on the business.

    Cons

The company has changed strategic direction in the last year and employees that were tied to the old business were impacted. Good people were lost but the company had to move to where the demand was in the market and away from technologies that were getting commoditized. If you could demonstrate the ability to re-invent yourself and be of value in the new model they worked hard to keep these individuals. Lots of long timers here with 10-20 years of tenure who have done so.

    Advice to Management

I think the leadership team has made the right hard choices. It is never easy to say good bye to good people and friends (they're talented people so will land well). Some of the pain felt by employees in the past was related to not making these hard decisions faster and played out as death by a thousand cuts. The leadership team is past this period and looking toward new growth going forward.

    Pros

Worked here for 9yrs. Cheap pay for employees, but morale was good when it was a private company. Still cheap pay, lost bonus plan, and no morale after it was bought out by another company. They dropped a lot of talented employees and kept very few special ones when moving operations. If you choose not to learn you stay stagnant, if you work hard to learn new things then potential for growth is there - but you must take a lot of initiative on your own to grow. Management changes a lot and the structure didn't seem stable. There are very good managers but it depends which department.

    Cons

Very low morale - everybody dreads going into work. A lot of great talent was lost and the ones they kept around worked twice as hard to fill in the gaps with no raise or bonus or any kind of incentive. management should focus on customers and product and not just product. You can have a decent product but it's nothing is there are barely any clients using it.

    Advice to Management

New management - take care of your employees.

    Pros

at the core the leadership is a team of people trying to do the right thing. most are friendly, easy to get along with, and approachable.

    Cons

The most recent changes in leadership (hirings and firings) are leaving most employees puzzled and upset. Company appears directionless, have had a series of unfortunate events like very low stock price and bank issues. Good people are being thrown out and the company direction changes every 3-4 months. There is literally no culture whatsoever, and its surprising more people haven't left. The leadership is literally making every mistake to undermine the success of the company. The leadership team would make less mistakes by not doing anything.

    Advice to Management

Just like the puzzled little boy said to his parents during the emperor's parade, "But he hasn't got anything on."

    Pros

If you want to move to Texas, this place is for you. Otherwise, if you can get into the Gupta division, you might have some hope.

    Cons

Flawed strategic vision, minimal knowledge of software industry, unable to execute business plans, lack of sales, lack of senior leadership, poor middle management. Morale is non-existent outside of Texas, toxic culture. Hiring is based on a good-old-boy network that consistently hires poor performers.

    Advice to Management

Abdicate. Let someone with a clue start over fresh.

Interesting Work, good pay, good benefits, get to work with variety of clients in many industries and in different countries. Exposure to different technologies and applications.

    Cons

Downturn in revenue and profit has led to constant reorganization and layoffs. Tend to hire management based on past friendships as opposed to actual skill and capabilities.

    Pros

Great people to work with. Everyone works hard and parties hard.

    Cons

After the merger, upper management does not know what to do at all. They fired all the sales guys and then complained that there's no work for the rest of the employee.

    Advice to Management

Don't take over a company that you don't know how to run.
