Pros

You work in a very positive environment where people tend to always work together. I generally look forward to going to work.

Cons

I feel like it was a complete dead end job. There was no mention of a raise or promotion while I was there.

Pros

Coworkers are very close to one another.
Discount on food.
Rewarded for doing a good job.
Trusted to be left alone on the job.

Cons

The customers can be very nasty and selfish, managers take advantage of their employees (and maybe come in to work half an hour everyday)

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to the complaints of employees.

Very laid back, good friends, ok food, great ice cream.

Management was very childish, never solved the main issues, horrible scheduling.

Everyone is really nice and the work isnt very hard. The experience i have gained is not only with food but ice cream as well

Some of the worst communication i have ever seen between corporate liason's and store owners/managers. Also the more popular items are pushed aside to try very strange and (in my personal opinion) disgusting products

Pros

You make friends with many of your coworkers, and it's fun to get to know regular and local customers. It is a laid back environment, and it's your job to provide dessert to customers, so they are bound to be happy.

Cons

You won't always be treated fairly, but if you can stand up for yourself you will show management that you expect to be respected.

Advice to Senior Management

Encourage employees through recognizing and rewarding hard work and a positive attitude. Be conscious of students school demands, and try to accomodate them.

Pros

Worked with a nice crew, got decent hours, and got to sample lots of ice cream.

Cons

Dealt with difficult customers at times, sometimes had incompetent employees, not alot of advancements within the company.

it is a great place to work the management at the pentiction location is very understanding about school (college) hours and great to work for

there is a large portion of the staff that are still in highschool and have less of a work ethic then is ideal for co-workers

hiring teenagers that are forced to work by there parents may not be the best way to maintain a efficient and productive work enviroment

-Good work/life balance

-Crowded work conditions
-Seems difficult to find advancement through the corporation
- Some projects can get quite convoluted if left alone
