    Pros

I loved making ice cream. That was fun. I also enjoyed working with people and getting to know them. Also sometimes working with employees.

    Cons

unfairness and lack of communication. I would instead communicate more if I were the manager and be more understanding. Keep track of things.

    Pros

My coworkers and I were paid $8 an hour at a Dairy Queen in Gainesville, Ga. As little as it seems it still added up. There were always people calling out so you could take their shifts for extra hours. It can get very fast-pace especially if you're located near a stadium of any kind or lots of job sites during lunch rush.

    Cons

Lots of work per position. Cooks clean the entire kitchen (including sweeping, moping, wiping counter tops), cleaning all of the equipment, restock freezers, condiments, and wash all of the dishes used to warm, cut, or to prepare any food. Cooks also empty the grill grease, take it out, and prepare the "cream" for the ice cream. All of this is done while you're making orders. You'll do different tasks for different days, so don't be too overwhelmed, but if your job isn't done don't expect to be let go when it's your time clock out.

    Advice to Management

Keep positive managers and keep up the good work! Make sure that the managers do their part and not just make all the kids do their work for them.
