My experience at Dassault Systemes India has been a true eye opener of bad corporate policies

    Junior Consultant (Current Employee)
    Mumbai (India)

Pros1) Opportunity to interact with C level executives
    2) Become a brand ambassador for 3D mock-up and digitalization software
    3) Opportunity to take-up challenging projects
    4) Opportunity to work on multiple domain and work with cross functional teams

Cons1) No career path of progression for graduates/post graduates recruited from top Management Schools and Engineering institutes
    2) Clarity for career progression not given at the time of joining the company
    3) Sales driven organization so job security is a concern

Advice to Senior Management1) Work culture needs to improve drastically. Here the attitude is dog-eat-dog and uncertainty of future in the company
    2) Do not recruit graduates/post graduates to spoil there career @ Dassault Systemes

Great company but a little old-fashioned Monarch style

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    ProsGreat place, people, technology. Flexible.

ConsManagement style is a little overly closed and politically structured. It's a reality that politics are always a factor in any organization. But since this is a French company, with the history of monarchy, this is representative of its management style. Also very little room to move up, since most management stays in the same company their whole lives. I think they focus too much on degrees and less on aptitude. Many "degreed" folks who don't know how to work.

Advice to Senior ManagementOpen your minds.

Good place to work, but non management positions are very underpaid

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Montreal, QC (Canada)

ProsGreat location down town, friendly environment. Most managers and supervisors are open and approachable.

ConsCompany is taking advantage of interns, paying minimum salary.
All administrative, non management positions are very underpaid.
Management is hiding behind all those complex HR policies, 50-page presentations with graphs and calculations that make no sense and only purpose of which is not to give you salary increase. They do appreciate your hard work and accomplishments, you might even get an award of some sort, but don't expect a decent salary increase.

    Software Developer (Current Employee)
    Paris (France)

ProsFlexible work hours, tasty snacks and about two months' vacation a year.

ConsSalary is just OK. Bear in mind that you've got to speak French ! Otherwise, the life could be difficult here.

I was working there for months, the name is good but you don't learn so much

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Paris (France)

    ProsGood team spirit
    Great technology
    Gym center
    Great place for lunch
    Excellent work/life balance

    ConsToo slow, too many processes.
No body knows where the management is going. There is a lack of communication between management and employees.
    Too political

HR is horrible... to be honest all my colleagues that met HR people came back very disappointed. The worst is they met HR from different departments.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease try to speak with your partners, all managers need to do a 360!!!!
