    Pros

Competitive pay, training opportunities, %100 company paid benefits, profit sharing, opportunities to get involved with future company projects.

    Cons

Was bought by L3 Communications in 2014, and has since lost many of the benefits listed above. The name Data Tactics is slowly being phased out as a separate business entity.

    Advice to Management

It is unfortunate that Data Tactics was unable to retain the autonomy promised during the initial buyout. I left the company before much of this change occurred, but am sad to hear the changes taking place. This company believed and invested in its people, and has forever changed my view on how I should be treated as an employee and a person.

    Pros

Company was really great and moving people into jobs that allowed their people to excel.

    Cons

Sometimes people were not supported in the position when the politics between companies were not healthy.

    Advice to Management

Nothing to be done about it now. The company is now apart of L-3. Culture will change if not be altered by the larger company.

    Pros

    Great company. Free Medical.

    Cons

I can't find anything wrong with this company. This is the best company I have ever worked for. Nothing but mature, energetic, and intelligent employees.

    Pros

You're recognized for your worth and the pay symbolizes this.

    Cons

Too data analytics focused; missing opportunities to partak in other growing technology fields

    Advice to Management

Seek out contracts for datacenter and voice implementation opportunities; growth in these areas "CAN NOT" be missed if the company wants to maintain relevancy and competive with the changing market.

    Pros

Bleeding edge technology company. Willing to jump in to the "new" stuff and take on the hard tasks. Very employee focused. All management levels (up to owner and C-level) try to do right by the employee. If you're not happy, they will try to move you. Excellent pay for the area. Has done well in the recession.

    Cons

Sometimes management lets bad ideas wither away instead of just cutting the rope. Some internal politics, but not too bad at the Sr. Software Engineer level.

    Advice to Management

Be quicker to cut bad ideas. Find or develop better collaboration methods.
