    Pros

    Daymon is the Industry leader in each of their divisions. Knowledgeable, aggressive executives are doing great job growing the company in highly competitive marketplaces and trying to diversify to give the company a broader base. They have a fantastic ESOP and good compensation. Benefits are good..

    Cons

    An ambitious CFO has heavily outsourced many positions, particularly in HR and IT. Job stability has decreased for many positions.

    Regain some of the heart Daymon was founded with.

    Pros

    They try to make the "Best Places to Work" list but fail miserably.

    Cons

    Very cheap, you have to beg for training and supplies. If your management team is spineless, you will get nothing!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Too much dead wood in some management and directors positions. Different rules for different folks, try to be consistent and stop retaining people because they fit a quota.

    Easy work but management makes it ten times harder.

    Cons

    Management very unorganized. Its who you know at Daymon. No chance for advancement.

    Expert in Private Label, retailer relationships, supply expertise, good people, decent culture and work life balance, flexible working arrangements possible, opportunities for growth and development. Competitive compensation/benefits.

    Cons

    Lack of solid processes, frequent changes in direction and structure, frequent disconnect between field teams and corporate.

    Follow through on initiatives, achieve continuity in strategy, focus on fewer better thought out initiatives rather than chasing every seemingly good opportunity. Demand performance, but offer appreciation.

    Casual environment. Flexible hours. Good cafeteria.

    Cons

    New leadership has turned this company into the rat nest. Work environment is nothing short of toxic. Lots of finger pointing and not much teamwork.

    Pros

    Daymon's summer internship program was the best internship I've had, by far. Their internship program was not a second-thought, it was well planned and designed, and interns were well compensated. Interns learned about every department of the company and were taken on field trips in order to better understand the business that the company is in.

    Cons

    The cafeteria food gets old quick, but that's everywhere…

    -Good potential for growth, however the jobs don't really change as you move up....just different title and pay

    Cons

    -Big disconnect between corporate and the account teams. Can lead to some frustration. Depending on the account you are at, the culture can be completely different (good or bad).

    Pros

    Yet another merch company that allows low pay and hours, but you can set your own schedule. There are ALOT of these out there so look for the family businesses, they pay more.

    Cons

    They lie about salary, benefits, hours.....everything. Don't let them fool you folks. They email several offers of jobs but none of them pay over $15 an hour. If you can live off that, go for it. High pressure, low pay doesn't add up to a decent job for me.

    Stop with the bait and switch with "open" opportunities. You can get sued over that kind of thing, you know.

    Pros

    Fantastic ESOP, Professional development, Mobility, Health Benefits are great. Training programs are top notch.

    Cons

    Very Political, Too much uncertainty and change, Low pay, promotes people based on individual performance and not on their ability to lead people....Employee satisfaction depends on your account (you can have a fantastic experience in one location or be subjected to a toxic work environment in another).

    Do not allow employees with poor management skills to manage people.
