    Pros

Working Independently, can work whatever days you choose, job is simple and pays well. The workers are more than happy to assist you in whatever you need.

    Cons

Some months are slow, so its best to have another job on the side. Sometimes, the promotional items don't make it to the store so it's hard to fully promote the item you're trying to sell.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I just wished the management contacted more often just to see how one is doing

    Pros

Great staff in the design department. Lots of fun, very talented designers with a handful of "not-so-fun, disgruntled, been here too long & like to complain" employees.

    Cons

limited advancement within corporate unless you want to move to an account & work on-site. Depending on the account, can be a nightmare. Always in the middle of conflict, & then accused of "going native".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reward & acknowledge the talented, committed employees. Get rid of the dead weight.

    Pros

The best thing about the company is the ESOP.

    Cons

Lack of support from VP and upper management, accountability for field teams but very little to none for corporate support.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop creating annual goals that are beyond reasonable reach without business plans to execute against. Stop hiring "new" talent at the expense of vested tenured employees.

    Pros

The IT department with 15 staff is very project originated, with a team of outsourced programmers oversea. Good hands-on opportunities to gain experience in different technology.

    Cons

High work pressure, never enough time to properly plan and schedule detailed workload. Manager has problem communicating with staff, resulting in weekly crisis and long schedule delay.

    Pros

A good company to work for, they have evolved over the years. Opportunities for growth and a solid future

    Cons

Can be political at times, need to network

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take the GPTW Survey seriously, it will lead to areas that can be improved and to people who should be reviewed and possibly demoted. It gives a voice to the Team when they can't speak

    Pros

Daymon offers a very good benefits package, including a great ESOP program. There is also a lot of flexibility with work arrangements in some areas, many employees work remotely. If you like to travel, Daymon is a great choice with offices all around the world.

    Cons

There is a lot of turnover lately, especially in senior leadership. While executives are trying to set the company up for future success, it makes morale very low when there is seemingly constant change in senior leadership.

    Pros

Great People, ESOP (very lucrative), Training, Benefits and access to industry knowledge and expertise. There's always security in the Food Industry because people got to eat! Lot of offices globally and aggressive growth and expansion continues to create new opportunities for upward mobility and exciting relocation opportunities.

    Cons

Some problematic Silos and Politics, but not that different than most companies out there. Base salaries can be lower than industry averages. Change is constant which can be dissruptive. Also in the midst of some major overhauls corporately which can be a bit unnerving, but I feel we are moving in the right direction.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve transparency into ongoing changes. Work to develop a greater culture of trust and collaboration to get around current silos. More with Less mantra will only lead to disgruntled, over worked and overstretched resources that will eventually look to greener pastures. The reality to that is more work will get done with less quality, which will lead to less perceived value of the teams and further reduction in resources creating a negative cycle of decline. The work life balance continues regress towards an imbalance, but that seems like the new normal these days. However, it doesn't help with making this company a great place to work. Need to staff accordingly to meet aggressive growth targets.
