    ProsI have taken this job with Daz earlyu this year, They have been a great company tow ork wiuth so far..Great job, great work culture, great salary...Also Great training during downtime..Daz could be one of the few companies who havent fired anyone in this market, thats because of the planning they have.

    ConsThe only issue I have is bad benifits, I shoudl say medicore benifits,the medical is expensive and the vacation is very short.

    Horrible place to make a career

    ProsNegotiate a handsome pay at the time of taking the offer, and you will get your 3%,6% pay rise every year with out review. Great right start at 100k put in 10 years and you will be above 140K but will still hold the same title, does that give you stability. YES, as long as they make money you are on project and not worried about anything else than pay great place to work.

    This will deliver 1 but not rest as it is more a mom and pop show rather than a professional organization.

    Yes there are a bunch of people who have managed from developer to director, consultant to manager but they have gained that being nice to owners. Applauding the owners as the best human beings around, best of the best in industry will give such growth.

    If you are hardworking individual , achieving your tasks but lack the skill of prasing the owners and socializing with them you will stay as is. Take a look at their senior most employee he still writes code, and there are employees who put in 12+ years and are still called developers as they were on day 1.

    Any one in Oracle will no that a print command from windows is different from actually specifying a printer while printing the concurrent job, there were two consultants who started with this company who did not know this but still they are project managers as they have the skill needed to be in good books of the owner. So owner management skills are must.

    If you have the right skills you will grow from developer to director , while all others are stand still.
    How does a COGS ACCOUNT generator workflow transition line design have anything to do with performance in ship confirm? The current director thinks that becuase the transition was not a straight line and was curved it impacts performance. Joker and Jokers the PM's here.

    This company doe not have a good image in the market, you will realize this if you talk to customers who worked with them.

    Ofcourse an organization that does not treat its employees will obviously is not going to treat the customers well too. Low ball the quote to gain customer projects and than have employees work as slaves without OT. If employees really do the math they are being underpaid when you actually take the hours put in.

    They will promise CIO position if they need your skills and expertise, but when you are about to leave because you are not satisfied. They will see this is not american.

    If we would have got a $250K loan accidentaly to start a company, we would do much better as entreprenuer this is not ROCKET SCIENCE TOO!

    Overbearing owners who only care about Sales Organization

    Project Manager (Current Employee)

    ProsIf you can survive the first 5 long years with the company, they will not fire senior employees, regardless of competence or performance.

    ConsThe sales team intentionally closes deals that CAN NOT be delivered according to the SOW and lies to the customers about nearly everything (expertise, quality, etc). Three or four customers do all their referrals, because the rest of their customer base would never go back to them.

    The delivery organization tries to clean up the mess, with a bunch of contractors brought in to staff the "rapid delivery model." The project teams works sixty/seventy hours a week without OT, and then the owner gives the customer “bad news” that go-live will not happen on schedule. A big PCN is signed, the client now hates DAZ and the remainder of the project is horrible (long hours, bad feelings, etc).

    Find another company to work at, this company is completely broken!

    Advice to Senior ManagementRetire, hire a new set of competent directors in delivery, turn over your sales staff and bring in Senior management that understands consulting.

    They Hesitate to give Offer letters or Experience letters on the Letter heads.

    in one line.. People who are experienced and want to excel in their careers , Dazsi ( India) is not the right Place to work.
