    Pros

You can work and go to school. I worked in the library so it pretty easy work to learn. Not time time consuming, I just help with basic tasks.

    Cons

The pay wasn't great. I think I was making minimum wage and working pay time so you can imagine what my check liked like.

It was a good company to work for. Great benefits, great work environment, but is going out of business.

    Cons

Going out of business, and leaving people unemployed.

    Pros

Passionate colleagues and love the company values. There are so many "for-profit" schools who only seem to care about getting students in the door. Trust me, I've worked at them. But DeVry really cares about making the right decisions for the student- not just the bottom line.

    Cons

Hours/working weekends can be tough but everyone is required to make the same sacrifices (including management) so at least we are all in it together

    Pros

The people I worked with were fantastic and they also had a good training program. Chris Vock was great. Seems like they do have a solid path to growth with the company Academic advisor I, II, III, team lead, supervisor etc. The only reason I left was due to relocating across the country, but I still keep my eyes open for any job openings at DeVry in NC.

    Cons

I worked at the Naperville Call Center, and it does get slightly repetitive. You have at least a few calls each day that the students are VERY angry and will cuss at you.

    Advice to Management

Continue to push towards the 'work from home' goal.
