From day one I have been surrounded by positive energy and work with extremely talented team members who share a wealth of knowledge! The benefits are great and the perks are amazing. If you enjoy working hard and appreciate change, there is a lot of career opportunities and upward movement!

    Pros

Dealertrack offers a fun work environment and flexible work hours as well as benefits and holidays

    Cons

It is VERY unorganized and there is absolutely NO communication. Also, because it has bought so many other companies that they need to prove are valuable they have goals that are completely unattainable thrust upon them by upper management only to cause extreme strain and stress on other employees .

    Advice to Management

My advice would be to communicate better not only amongst your team but the other teams as well. There are so many wheels moving at the same time you need to make sure they're all moving in the right direction. Also to value their lower employees more. More incentives and praise would go a long way for your hard working teams.

    Pros

Limited telecommuting allowed. Plenty of work to go around. Plenty of opportunity to pick up a challenge and learn new things.

    Cons

Minimal recognition by management, most technical managers lack technical experience in the current technologies. Salaries low, employees bear increasing cost of benefits. Value of benefits decreases every year. Company has evolved from an agile organization to a bureaucracy. Every project evolves into an emergency, mostly because of either poor business insight or constantly shifting priorities.
