    Pros

If the staff got along it was fun. It was fast paced and there was always something to do.

    Cons

The new store manager talked to everyone about everyone. It caused problems and made me not want to go to work.

    Advice to Management

Well, the store is closed now so not much to say.

    Pros

Fun place to work, discount was awesome, holiday pay and time off, great price point for quality, could manage how you like

    Cons

No overtime pay, dis-orginzed management levels, lack on communication from home office. No sick or personal time, sales and incentives often taken back after awarded.

    Advice to Management

Listen to sales management who are in the field and know heir customers and market. Work harder at expenses control of the company vs taking payroll from stores and giving hem more work

    Pros

It's a great first job into retail. Dealing with a lot of customers while tasking. Getting to know your customers on a personal level. This company liked to promote within.

    Cons

Unfortunately with all the promos we had to do in a small amount of time killed us. Didn't have enough payroll to back up all the promo changes and the window changes which hurt the company. There was a change to the logo which didn't have to be done and silly signs that we didn't even bother to use. In the end the company didn't know how to budget the small things.

    Pros

I liked how quickly you were able to move up in the company. The people I worked with were probably the best people I've ever worked with before.

    Cons

The company didn't know what they were doing half the time. Changing something almost every hour.

    Advice to Management

    My managers were the best

    Pros

This was an amazing opportunity to grow and lead. I worked with amazing people. In my district the upper management listen to my career objectives and I was able to travel a lot and recieve promotions. I loved offering plus sizes, great opportunity to help plus size teens feel great in their bodies, and ofcourse prom dresses!

    Cons

Payroll got very tight towards the end of my time (true in much of retail) where associates could not work more than 3 hour shifts leading to loose a lot of my best talent. It also correlated to higher shrink and lower sales because we could not get to all the customers.

    Advice to Management

Protect payroll so that your teams can build better revenue for the company.
