    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

if you were a decent sales person you could make good money

    Cons

their marketing approach is all over the place and it was apparent when they made changes

    Advice to Management

be honest with your employees, don't constantly try to spin them to believe what you think is best

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Debt Shield full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Start-up company - hence there were lots of opportunities to show initiative and build new processes. The employees were a well-knit group and gelled well together. It was a familial environment.

    Cons

Dominated by the personality of the owner to the detriment of the organization. Performance measurements were inconsistent and borderline schizophrenic. The owner would keep engaging in foolhardy new ventures that drained the company of it's capital reserves

    Advice to Management

No advice possible - management has no say in any of the decisions. Everything is micro-managed to the nth degree by the owner

  3. Strange place to work

    Pros

If you are just starting your career, this is a good place to begin. You will be surrounded by many good supportive and helpful colleagues.

    Cons

The CEO is a control freak. He must make all decisions regardless of how large or how small. He does not communicate well, leaving others to pickup the pieces. In his own mind, he has never made a mistake. Other senior managers simply do as they are told, they have no authority to do anything. This may be one the strangest places to work in the country. It is certainly the strangest place I have worked.

    Advice to Management

To the CEO, you are surrounded by some excellent people. Let them do their jobs. Share information and credit. To the other senior management, find another job.
