I worked at Defense Contract Management Agency full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great organization to learn and achieve more and more responsibility. Good career for individual that likes adversity and likes to travel. The work can be very rewarding.

    Cons

As for any Government agency you are stuck to follow the regulations setup by the Government organization in charge. You may not always agree with them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Collect feedback from the employee's actually doing the work. They know the situation and probably can perform the task at a more economical rate. And do a better job then just following a manual that is supposed to fit all situations.
