I worked at Defense Engineering full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Benefits, nature of the work

    Cons

As the company started to grow, DEI would tact on more and more responsibilities and not compensate for those new roles. Severely overworked and underpaid. Horrible work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

Be more involved in employee one on one interaction and give credit when credit is due.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Work life balance. Growing company. Onsite employees encouraged to enhance themselves and promoted and rewarded financially. Ability to interact with a lot of government employees.

    Cons

Expect to not be heard unless you gain access to the good ol boy club. The willingness to listen to opinions that vary from the direction the President wants to take are not welcome. The President plays favorites and is a know it all. Nepotism is rampant. Outward showd to increase diversity but it is an illusion. Benefits change yearly. Not stable which leads to concerns about stability and finances. Nepotism is rampant. All them employees contribute to the company successes, reward them all financially and at random.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. Be fair. Treat people how you want to be treated. Without people there is no DEI.

    Pros

I have been very happy with the growth of my career. They work with you on all issues. This is a great company.

    Cons

The only challenges I see is the not getting paid for off shifts. Benefits are ok at best.
