“Working in the warehouse is a great place for some part-time money.”
Former Employee – worked at Delaware Valley Wholesale Florist part-time for more than a year
Pros – The place has very good managers, there is not too much oversight, the hours are flexible, and they respect hard work.
Cons – Some of the employees are very "colorful" and it easy to get bored with one job, while it is not easy to move into a different department if you need a change of venue.
Advice to Senior Management – Offer more opportunities for people to move around to different departments for the warehouse. It will not only help your employees be more engaged in their work, but will also create a stronger work force because they will better understand the business and be able to preform multiple tasks within it.
