4. Best place if you are planning on retirement in a job that pays well :) you would have good company as majority of the folks would be with you :) :)
Cons
Depends on the role you are joining. My feedback is specific to the role/org I was involved
1. Pathetic leadership. Bangalore senior management has no vision and road map. Folks in the senior management have no clue on managing and executing projects which clearly reflects in the day to day operational activities. Join one of their weekly review meetings and you would learn how unproductive meetings can get and how not to run meetings. Can be a good case study in management schools :)
2. Hyderabad is the power center. All decisions are executed out of Hyd. Bangalore senior management is too weak and spineless to speak on issues that matter. So unless you have plans to move to a different group this is definitely not the place
3. Bangalore management has a myopic vision. Focus is not on the project success or org goals rather on individual gains. Does not seem to be meritocratic. You need to have "Yes Boss" attitude to succeed
4. Management Mantra : If there is an issue, plead ignorance till the point you can. If it hits the roof, find someone to blame
Advice to Senior Management
There is too much of flab built over the years. Get rid of the old timers and bring in new blood. Old timers have a cartel and Its run like a family business, move people out of their comfort zone and bring in meritocracy
Pros
1. Very professional
2. Good Cafeteria
3. Hard Working people
Cons
1. Management is not educated people
2. Senior management usually consists of people who slogs for years and as basically biased type of people
3. People get awarded if you are with the manager
4. No knowledge sharing or upliftment, work with whatever knowledge you have..
