    Pros

Dell is generally a decent place to work. There is a lot of opportunity to move around within the organization and there are many things to learn.

    Cons

There's definitely a presence of people who have been around a very long time, who are not necessarily top performers. The quality of employees has steadily declined, with the tenured people not being the best and the brightest, but they're typically those who learned to play the game.

    Advice to Management

Find a focus. If you want to acquire more companies - quit buying the 4th best company and internally promoting it as "the best." Seek some differentiation. Also - kill work from home.

    Pros

Salary is negotiable and good. Long term clients, low billing rates hence work is relaxed

    Cons

Dell Fires, Popular slogan 'Dell is Hell'; No Hikes over the last3 years, so lots of attrition and frustration among old employees. All immigration processes(Green Card Processing) are put on hold

    Advice to Management

Please give immediate hikes to employees.

    Pros

Benefits are comprehensive and extremely well covered
Over 20k invested in Education reimbursement and certifications in 3 years
Huge internal training library via the Portal
Working from home or with flex schedules is freedom!
Increased by personal salary over 40% in 3 years!
Move policy allows you to apply for new positions @ 12mos (entry level) or 18 months (all other roles) and keeps managers competitive. If you hate the spot, highly likely to move internally. I did 4 years in 3 years.

    Cons

Coming in via an acquisition can be hard as many have not assimilated the Dell culture.
Satellite offices via acquisition need upgrading (Providence, RI - Boston)

    Advice to Management

    Continue to make Dell awesome!
