Pros
People have a lot of autonomy in their work, and the ability to make decisions and choices. There's flexible work schedules, the potential to work from home, so alot of work is done with people from other regions. Lots of people who know what they are doing - and teams work together to achieve larger objectives.
Cons
There's flexibility, but there's the opportunity to work all the time. Many people handle a large workload, and it's a fast paced environment. You can work 24/7 and still never be done...they're a really lean machine.
Advice to Senior Management
Great Environment
Pros
The money was good. Over all the compensation for the role was great. The onboarding was prettty good too however
Cons
Management did not let employees get a chance to grow in their roles. They were too quick to say you were doing a bad job even though you were not.
Advice to Senior Management
If you decide to give employees the ability to run their territory as their territory then let them. To much drama
Pros
Good people to work with, effort made by management to create and maintain work/life balance, opportunity to learn is present.
Cons
Incompetent management, poor communication by management to direct reports, poor compensation, low morale, frustrating to get cooperation from other departments required to do job.
Pros
Dell has good work-life balance, good people and culture.
Cons
Perceived as a big box desktop/laptop company.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to your senior account execs concerns
Pros
Enjoyed the cx and helping people out
Cons
The Shift work, and not being able to lock in a shift
Advice to Senior Management
Giving praise and more $$ to bad shifts
Pros
Dell offered good benefit and paid very well. They sell great products and services and Dell trade their staff fairly.
Cons
a lot of pressure working at dell, the training is pool. limit opportunity to move up unless you have good network..
Pros
Very transactional for a sales organization, if you don't learn how to manage your time and your clients you will fail. If you learn this, you will do very well. Excellent support within the organization to get help and information, though not always timely. Excellent support for emergency situations.
Cons
Horrible Work/Life balance. You will work long hours and weekends and evenings in this role. If you need emergency time off, you still need to hit your sales targets.
Advice to Senior Management
None, it won't make a difference. This is a very top-down organization.
Pros
A Great place for development.
Cons
Large company, sense of invisibility at times
Advice to Senior Management
