    I worked at Dell (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Dell is an excellent company to work for and offers great benefits and flexible timing.

    Cons

    As usual every company have some parasites sitting at top level and it appears Dell favors them more instead of workers.

    Advice to Management

    Better to honor who work hard instead of king of words.

    I worked at Dell full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    The company has good work life balance. Most people are friendly and nice.

    Cons

    I felt that once Dell acquired Perot Systems we all lived with the uncertainty if we would all have jobs the following day. In the last account I was in the uncertainty was off the charts. It made for a very stressful environment. Especially when people that actually did do work were laid off and others that did nothing but play computer games all day were not.

    I have been working at Dell full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Some of the people at work were OK.

    Cons

    The company doesn't care about the employees. Management is all off shore, so the employee doesn't get any support. You only get dumped on. When someone leaves, the person doesn't get replaced just your work load grows. There is no advancement, raises are very small and only more and more work gets dumped on you.

    Advice to Management

    Stop moving everything off shore. There are great people here that can do a much better job.
