I have been working at Dell full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I think anyone would enjoy working here that has an interest in working for a global enterprise, it is a great feeling knowing that you can make an impact within your group and even the organization at large. My experience has been that managers and directors are wide-open to innovation and growth.

    Cons

Recent changes have caused an environment of people not being sure of how safe their job is.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Strive to do something innovative, and stop being so reactionary. I know it must be difficult to do this in such a competitive field, but surely Dell can find a defining product, service or even marketing effort that will help drive the brand and the business forward into the future.

I have been working at Dell full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great work/life balance. It is truly an environment where you work hard and play hard. Personally, I have been afforded opportunity to move around and take on different roles growing personally and professionally. Great teammates and friends. Constantly learning.

    Cons

If you don't have a "sponsor" that believes in you, moving around the org for different opportunities can be difficult (i.e. who you know). Has been tough to navigate through all the change at times, but getting better.
