    Great place to work

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Prosdelmar is a great place to work it offers a great team of workers that and a management staff that has the ability to steer its facility through any thing that may arise in its day to day operations. the management staff is the most competent staff i have ever had the privlage of working under they genuinely care about their employees and residents and go above and beyond to ensure that people are satisfied.

Consthere are not very many cons in this company. the only con is that if you are not a full time worker you don't get many hours because they are only alotted so many hours per area and of course the full time workers get their hours first.

Advice to Senior Managementkeep up the good job that you are doing and i hope this company continues to thrive under your leadership

    Homecare Department

    Nurse (Former Employee)
    Chesterfield, MO

ProsThis is a great place to gain experience if you are a new homecare nurse. This company has a fairly decent orientation process compared to other homecare agencies. Medical insurance is decent, not the highest, not the lowest.

ConsNot mindful of distances that nurses drive, and mileage is capped at $1000 per month. Also, among homecare agencies, this agency is one of the lower paying agencies. Questionable professionalism in managment, this definitely is a "good ole' boys" network- sometimes we wonder what certain people REALLY do in their titles??? This agency has had several POC's at each survey, and while upper management is paid well, the nurses in the field who DIRECTLY work for the corrections to be rectified, are not rewarded.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your nurses! Nurses haven't had a per visit rate increase for over 7 years. What a waste to spend the time/money in orientation, and then not have any perks for the nurses to stay. Alot of great nurses have left and moved on because of this reason.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Overall great company to work for.

    Caregiver (Current Employee)
    Saint Louis, MO

ProsMany locations to choose from. Great parties with wonderful prizes and a very nice holiday bonus. Lunch is provided so you do not have to worry about bringing your lunch daily.

ConsVery lazy management staff. To many "second" chances for management. Headquarters can be very rude when you call them to ask questions. Part time employees are not offered any type of incentives no matter how many years you have worked for the company.
