Pros
Diverse and young culture makes it a place that people would gladly work at during vacationer, graduate and lateral hires.
Cons
Seems to not compensate staff at market rates, performance bonus is minimal
Advice to Senior Management
Concentrate on people first before growth strategy and expansion
Pros
Very understanding partner and managers.
Able to record overbudget hours - within 1 year I have 30 days of allowed absence including yearly absence.
Friendly enlivenment in regards to age range. (23-32)
Nourishing in the means of knowledge.
Flexible upper management
Cons
Project based work hours thus most of the time 50+ work hours weekly.
Low salaries compared to similar jobs.
Working with different managers may cause standardization problems in the means of work quality.
No creativity. Therefore after certain number of projects learning curve becomes more linear, making job experience more stagnant.
Most important attribute is endurance. Not really a challenging job and again over time becomes dissatisfying.
Pros
Good exposure to many different areas of tax
Access to resources across the country
Abiltiy to move around either locations or departments if desired
Cons
Long hours
Expectation of not take PTO
Advice to Senior Management
Better work-life balance needed. Lots of people have been leaving for more money and less hours elsewhere
Pros
The people are great, ability to challenge yourself with new projects was also really good, benefits are the best I've gotten in my career.
Cons
Politics and back stabbing
Over worked and under appreciated
Advice to Senior Management

Cons
BAd qork Quality. Is a dignified back office here in India
Advice to Senior Management
Choose your people wisely and manage human capital.

have to have a mentor and someone who will look out for you...else, very tough!
Advice to Senior Management
great place, great client ethic.
Pros
There is an International environment
Cons
To fill every day time sheet, and workload is not well spread
Pros
- Fantastic Learning and Development program
- On leading edge of technology for such a large firm
- Leadership takes feedback and integrates employee suggestions
- Organization fosters an environment of professional development
- Great internal flexibility to move to other departments within the firm
Cons
- Choose the personality of your boss wisely - they will affect the rest of your career
- Compensation varied wildly from year to year
- Regardless of performance, you will have to wait in line for advancement
Advice to Senior Management
See the cons above
Pros
Great for the resume and as a place to jump off to other opportunities. Lots of classes and resources made available to employees to educate themselves.
Cons
Lot of fake emphasis on work/life balance. If you ask a question of 4 people you get 3 1/2 different answers.
Advice to Senior Management
Company needs an HR department and stated policy on a manner of things so employees know what to do to get ahead.
Pros
-Fair to good compensation and benefits (Sabattical was a nice recent add)
-People and collegial culture bar-none make an excellent work environment
-Challenging and rewarding work
-Travel perks on par with industry
-Clear career path(s) exists
-Opportunities to move around
-World class support structure for firm tools, methodologies, and knowledge base
Cons
-Although work-life balance and the corporate lattice/MCC are good concepts, at the end of the day that's what they are: concepts and theory. Employees give their lives up for their clients/projects and the firm and if you don't then natural selection occurs and you will be viewed as the weak link and be eventually weeded out.
-Expense policy on meals is subpar compared to industry. (Deloitte uses actuals vs other companies follow state laws on per diem)
-Constant travels wears on the personal life
-Firm culture creates cliques and factions of partners/sr mgrs that watch over their inner circles and protect only themselves
Advice to Senior Management
Although at the end of the day, the firm is a great place to work, however there is the word "cult" in culture. The factions/cliques that exist are the ones who have control and are exclusionary unless you prove you are "one of them" by giving up your life to become a partner/director. This strategy is not going to be sustainable with the next generation of the workforce.
