Pros
lots of programs to support work life balance, community services, corporate social responsibility, learning and development opportunities, you voice is heard at the top if its ignored at bottom
Cons
too much formal, casuals restricted to business style, not much fun activities uniformly in the organisation
Pros
It has a very flexible culture and there is lot to learn at this place. It is seriously one of the best places to start your career with.
Cons
Sometimes the workload may get on to you too much. But again, it depends on you how much you want to take.
Advice to Senior Management
I think more onsite opportunities should be there for the young people and the groeth should be more frequent rather than in 3 years.
Pros
1. Variety of projects
2. Company Culture
3. Flexibility
4. Opportunity to do different things and grow
Cons
1. Work load
2. Milestone years
Pros
Good work-life balance
Low attrition as work is niche and limited requirement by industry
Cons
primarily body shopping and implementation and support than advisory per se
No clear structure or process as expected in a large firm
firm is risk averse, so projects with any complexxity or risk is not taken up
Advice to Senior Management
move towards better work than taking anything thrown
avoid support projects and body shopping projects
Pros
1. salary - good, offer more than peers
2. Learning - if you're go-getter, you can choose trainings of your interests and can manage own career
3. Extra curricular's- relief from work, people are encouraged to do
4. If you're manager is good, smooth sail else you're unlucky. You're manger writes your fate.
5. Loyalty towards people who have been for quite a few years. Treat very well.
Join here gain a few years of experience and then shift. Not a place to stay for ambitious people. Brand value might help you, if you're aiming for job abroad
Cons
1. No work life balance - Too dependent on US, so you get no time to catch up with life unless counterparts are on vacation.almost no time for life, especially at middle level
2. Performance appraisals - Judged by extra activities than work. even if you do awesome work, you wont get good rating. Your network and your extra curriculars will give you good rating, not your work.
3. Too many organizational changes and No plan - More work will be dumped upon people who work, others do none. Few resources with too much of work, no proper guidance or plan or effective management. Changes imposed at the whim of leadership. Resources burnt out with mountains of work.
4. Dont look for challenging work, you'll be disappointed.
Advice to Senior Management
1. Retain people who add worth. Hiring freshers will not compensate for losing valuable resources at other end.
2. Stop burning out people with too much of work and useless changes.
Pros
Good for people who love to participate in event management not for "techies".
