Need to be very shrewed to survice in this organisation - ie you cannot be naive about anything around you

Pros
Although I have only recently joined Deloitte, I have been really happy so far with the role that I am performing, the people I am working with and the opportunities that have arised. Deloitte allows me to innovate and add value whilst providing me with the support to do so. I feel that I am recognised for the hard work I put in and the ideas that I put forward. Furthermore, my team have been very supportive in ensuring that my work-life balance is balanced!
The leadership at Deloitte is very open and they do a great job communicating changes and inititatives to the organisation so you always feel included and as though you are an integral part of the organisation.
Lastly, Deloitte is really great about open communication when it comes to moving around within the organisation, they don't want you to get bored in your role and support you if you want to explore internal opportunities. This is really refreshing and is true to one of their values, to recruit and retain the best.
Cons
Working in a partnership is a little different to working in a publicly listed organisation so there is a hierarchy, it is imperative that you make the right impression on the right people but I think that this is the same anywhere.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep doing what you are doing and find new ways to do it even better!
Pros
-Great peers and good client portfolio; respect in the market as a Deloitte employee.
-Ability to drive your own career and influence the careers of others.
-An apparenticeship model that works
-A relatively new practice with fantastic opportunities for growth
Cons
-The local practice is nascent and experiencing growing pains; the support structure is still formulating
-The performance management can be more effective and direct
Advice to Senior Management
-Address attrition of high performers
-Try and manage burn-out projects better
Pros
Market perception, experience at a multi national firm
Cons
Remuneration at higher levels seem low taken the risk profile into account.
Excessive work hours
Advice to Senior Management
Management need to address the new Gen y's needs. Companies will have to change the way they engage the new generation.
Pros
Deloitte is a global organisation with a great network of people, most of whom are intelligent and experts at their craft.
There is a very structured career development program and personal development training program.
Cons
I worked in a small team within consulting as a designer. During my time we were gradually assimilated into the Management Consulting team, and were expected to assume their processes, structures and ways of working despite this not being relevant to a creative environment.
Advice to Senior Management
Make some decisions about the strategy for your online team and communicate this to them without using buzz words and fluff.
Pros
access to large client accounts, strategy and analytics knowledge not found in smaller digital agencies, exposure to many other disciples
Cons
No clue when it comes to quality user experience work. No clue when it comes to building, mentoring, or sustaining a creative team. Internal systems are terrible; placing a massive admin overhead on each employee. very hierarchy driven, but in a bad way. High staff turnover. Difficult to recruit talent.
