Great environment. If you are goal driven and ambitious you will succeed. It is an academic challenging environment. You will get a lot of support if you are well aligned with a senior manager.

Work too much, and no respect from management.

Lack of projects
Pros
Excellent people who provide good mentorship, and high-profile clients can help someone develop a good resume and excellent work experience.
Cons
The work can be very dry at times, and compensation is generally poor compared to other industries. Furthermore, the management is not running the firm at optimal levels, resulting in too many managers and senior managers.
Advice to Senior Management
Management needs to focus less n trying to squeeze the last penny out of every project, and need to focus more on trying to improve the satisfaction of employees.
Pros
The experience is simply amazing
Cons
The salary is low, if you get unlucky you get "stuck" on a project without learning much
Advice to Senior Management
Evaluation system could be improved
Pros
Very strong in financial services industry and currently growing strongly in other industries. A great place to work at the moment with lots of opportunity for growth.
Cons
Internally you have to be very aware of your reputation and relationships with senior management. Sometimes the work can be fairly abstract to start with and you can be made to feel like asking a question is a failing.
Advice to Senior Management
Continue with the focus on growth and keep giving opportunities to staff to progress in the firm. Start to say hello in the mornings!
Pros
Good company brand
Good networking opportunities
Lots of diverse projects and industries to work for
Cons
Very low pay below market competitors
Promotion system is very arbitrary and inconsistent - you could get the top ratings on all your Projects and your year-end performance would be rated low (managers have admitted that they do this on purpose to prevent people from moving up the ladder)
People are two-faced - your managers are not what they seem. Never think they have your best interests in mind. You are a revenue number. That is all you are.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop paying minimum wage and slave driving us.
