    Pros

Deloitte has great corporate culture, excellent compensation and abundance of resources.Training etc. Excellent career growth, ability to carve out your own career.

    Cons

It's more of a management consulting firm than technology. Networking skills are important or else you feel very lost in the organization. You fit into the firm better when you start at a junior level and climb up the ladder. It's a difficult adjustment as a senior.

    Pros

Great people abound at Deloitte and I was impressed with the operations of the firm from day one. Being such a large firm, the supporting resources (HR assistance, technical expertise for assistance on projects, etc) are quite extensive and I found myself constantly pushed to excel further than I had in the past. It was a very valuable experience overall and my time at Deloitte was professionally rewarding.

    Cons

As with any large organization, the administrative and bureaucratic requirements can be a bit annoying (required training, endless counseling and goal planning, etc). While not enjoyable, these are very minor cons and not something that would keep me from recommending the firm to anybody interested.

    Pros

Great company, fantastic benefits including a pension plan, great health care coverage. Overall a very classy company. Very wise leadership. You will work here, but you will be rewarded.

    Cons

None, unless you want to get paid for warming a seat and you whine a lot.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep it up, I especially love how the company culture is to protect people's vacation time and the company expects people to work hard, but also rewards them well.

    Pros

Work/life balance and career opportunities are great for services employees

    Cons

Salary increases and promotions are dificult to come by. The competition for a better salary increase/year is challenging especially if in a bigger pool of colleagues. The total rewards options do make up for the slight salary increase year over year.

While it sounds cliche, Deloitte is a place where you own your own career.

    Pros

    -Great mentorship/counseling model
    -Good pay and benefits
-Energetic and motivated people that are very collaborative and team-oriented

    Cons

If you are the type of person that wants to work 9-5 and then go home and not talk to other employees, then this is not the place for you. They encourage you to get involved with firm initiatives, eminence, and building the practice, and you must do so in order to succeed. Examples are recruiting, white papers, proposal work, etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to focus on the people and recruiting the best and brightest of them. It's the only way a professional services firm can survive long-term.
