The people are great and nice to work with!
Cons
There is NO leadership and management waits around waiting for someone else to make a decision. There is so much potential there and so little respect. There is no growth opportunity.
Advice to Senior Management
Grow up and actually lead.
Pros
Delphi is well positioned for global growth. There are also a lot of global opportunities to work with teams of people from around the work or on projects in other parts of the world. This creates a kind of "creative tension" that is both exciting & empowering.
Cons
Keeping the "creative tension" from becoming a tension headache!
Advice to Senior Management
Keep the vision of Delphi in front of employees to provide the insipration or "picture" of where we are heading.
Pros
As an intern I was given some of the most interesting and exciting projects, not only within the department I applied for. I got to work with interns and experienced colleagues from multiple corporate functions, had real responsibilities and handled cases that had real impact. It was invaluable exposure. The people I worked with were incredibly friendly, helpful, and competent, and I felt truly valued and appreciated for the work I was doing. Our manager and senior executives were also extremely approachable. They very often took time to guide our projects and sometimes had lunch with us to hear our professional interests. Overall, I felt very happy and fortunate that I took this internship. It was really a unique, unparalleled experience.
Cons
At times cross organizational communication was lacking.
Advice to Senior Management
Continue to be open and receptive to interns and to prepare them for full-time positions at Delphi.
Pros
excellent work culture, good work life balance, good cab facilities. Also compensation is best compared to other companies in the same domain.
Cons
No good work going on @ Bangalore center.
Its lagging behind competitors in most of the technologies. Company lacks vision for the future and very less investment for R&D
Advice to Senior Management
take steps to update technology and be at par with competitors.
Pros
Great place to grow - International opportunities
Cons
Some managers are still Autocratic.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to employees. Get rid of managers who don't get it
