    Pros

    Very diverse and receptive environment.

    Cons

Pretty antiquated infrastructure at it's corporate headquarters.

    Advice to Management

Once you see the level of potential desired within a contractual resource, do hesitate in attempting to bring that resource on board permanently.

    Pros

Flight benefits, 401k, profit sharing, paid vacation, and sick time

    Cons

The salary is really low. It's hard to grow in the company, you can only move up if you know someone.

    Advice to Management

Paying employees better, flight benefits does not count as a salary.

    Pros

I worked at AA for 14 years and can't believe I wasted all those years at the wrong airline. Great leadership, an employer who respects it's employee groups and follows through on practicing what it preaches in terms of corporate culture.

    Cons

Seniority based employee travel. It's the norm in the industry, but hurts compared to AA when you are new.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Your employees love this company and are your best source of advertising. Also, replace UHC for health insurance.

    Pros

Outstanding senior management. High end risks are mitigated by strong and clear set short term goals. Keeping true to the Delta culture and difference keeps us separated from the pack.

    Cons

Senior management (Senior GMs - Senior Executives) is Outstanding. Middle management (Supervisors - Junior GMs) could definitely use some work.

    Advice to Management

Stay the course. I would much rather have a fiscally healthy company and job for years to come than to try and "keep up with Joneses" in such a volatile and unstable industry.

    Pros

Pay and Benefits. Flight privileges. The people you work with, some of the most talented people I have ever met

    Cons

It takes 8 years to top out on the pay scale. Shift work, I have spent many years working Midnight and second shift. Can be physically demanding

    Advice to Management

Remember that it's the people that make Delta successful.

    Pros

Pay is decent (12.43 when I left)
Two sets of part time: Seasonal or standard
Now have unpaid off days that are earned
    Can retire after 15 years
    Works well with school

    Cons

You have little choice in your shift and in your work location
Your management will not be very helpful
Your fellow employee's tend to be apathetic and vulgar
Many things are not explained during training and you have to learn out on the ramp

    Advice to Management

Stop being so apathetic, and stop the secret files! That is not nice to have a secret file that the employee cannot see, but is complied over there entire career. Within it, is a record of everything they have done wrong. This is really wrong!
