Pros
Great workplace, great benefits, incentives are very good, time of, plenty of over time. Friendly environment. Lots of diffrent departments to move to.
Cons
Who u know to be able to move up the ladder. On the phone two many hours a day. Pay ver small.
Advice to Senior Management
Think outside the box when it comes to what Ur employees can offer Ur company. Be more diversified in Ur management.
Pros
Great travel benefits for employees. But increasingly difficult to use because of the high passenger load factors these days.
Cons
Pay and benefit for frontline employees are now far below industry standard. Employees are no longer treated with respect and dignity. The companys management style now is fear and intimidation. Employees are overworked and underpaid. Pay, benefits and retirement have been slashed or eliminated for employees. While at the same time senior management walks away after a few years with the company with full retirements, lifetime travel benefits and multi million dollar bonuses. Even when the company is loosing money.
Advice to Senior Management
Instead of just talking about the unique culture that once was Delta. Walk the walk. Look back at the management style of C.E. Woolman and reinstitue it. Richard Anderson loves to talk about C.E. Woolman, but his management style is the complete opposite. And this style of management is now seen throughout the company in all departments. Delta is no longer the family it used to be and still claims to be. It's management doesn't seem to have a clear direction. It's disfunctional, intimidating and confrontational towards it's employees. Delta employees used to feel valued and respected. And it showed in our commitment to our passengers. Customer satisfaction with Delta has significantly dropped as the management style of the company has changed to one of employee intimidation. Now everyone just wants to punch the clock and keep a low profile. And try to survive. As well as try to somehow pick up enough overtime to be able to make ends meet. Many of us have had to take on second jobs to care for our families. While management is raking in the big bucks. Our pay and benefits are now way below industry standard. Sad to see such a great place to work become so unhappy and fearful in the past few years.
Pros
Flexible work environment, use of latest technology, world travel, international coworkers,
Cons
jet lag and long hours
Advice to Senior Management
respect feed back from front line employees in direct contact with the public. If you have a high percentage of employees reporting the same challenge, look into possible solutions.

Cons
Very Low pay

Management changes constantly
Frequent layoffs
Pros
It will teach you how to work different types of mechanical equipment. Delta benefits are pretty good. Especially the flight benefit. You can work overtime as well.
Cons
Rarely have a lunch break sometimes or none at all. You might not have time for a break also. They might over work you and have you work alot of other gates. You might have some lazy team members. You might have to work a gate with few people to help you.
Advice to Senior Management
Try to give workers a break/lunch break. Workers majority of the time work the whole shift without a break.

Advice to Senior Management
update technology
Pros
The free and reduced cost tickets-if you can get a seat.
Cons
Still pretty much "the old boys club".
Pros
Decent travel benefits and 401k matching.
Cons
Reorganization is another word for firing people they don't like regardless of how well they are doing in their current role.
Advice to Senior Management
Be honest and open during employee reviews.
Pros
Pros for working with Delta airlines would be flight benefits, incentives for cross-selling Delta cobranded products. Employee "rewards" and recognition while on the job.
Cons
For the amount of work that you are required to complete the pay is rather low. There is not a clear and concise way to account for time management
Advice to Senior Management
Offer your front line employees, that help generate revenue for the company better salaries, that would lower your turnover rates.
Pros
I love working with the fleets and there are abundant learning experiences.
Cons
Poor services to own employees, esp. Flight attendants and Gate agents
