    Decent experience

Flight Attendant (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsGood crew training atmosphere. Nice training facility with good instructors. Benefits were okay. Co-workers were friendly. Crew hotels were clean and nice.

ConsNot much room for advancement. Schedulers were sometimes rude and unhelpful. Once out of training you're very much on your own.

Advice to Senior ManagementHelp new crew members adjust to the new lifestyle with more support.

One of the best places to work.

Baggage Handler (Former Employee) Flushing, NY

ProsAwesome flight benefits and the atmosphere is a helpful one. Sure theyre people who dont want to help you out but there are others who are willing to. Seniority plays a role in some aspects but if youre willing to work it shouldnt matter.

ConsLong wait for full time to open up and when it does it all goes by seniority first and then attendance and performamce. No benefits for ready reserve other than flight benefits.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

    Flight Attendant

Proudly Flight Attendant, Nyc (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsMedical benefits, flexibility, travel, and autonomy

ConsUnion, lazy co-workers, no holidays, EVERYTHING based on years of service, no age limit for mandatory retirement so some dinosaurs won't retire yet cannot perform job requirements any longer. Frustrating.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you want to change some things for the better, ask in-flight how they would change it. They are the ones working the planes and can give you the best and most efficient feedback. Not the bean counters.

    Innovative and fast-paced

Airport Customer Service Ready Reserve (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsConstantly improving, great benefits, big family feeling

ConsSeniority over qualifications, slow HR department, overtly strict

Advice to Senior ManagementPay more attention to your applicants and your ready reserves. The lack of support discourages the newcomers and those who love Delta and wish to grow within.
