    Pros

Steady work, new product line, big changes.

    Cons

    Uncertain job security, new management

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees ideas, we have been here longer than many new managers. We seem to be ignored when we are being overworked, need more coverage at times in order to complete lab testing and floor checks.

I have been working at Delta Faucet full-time

    Pros

Town meetings are run by the President and it gives the overall culture a nice touch. Also able to donate time for service opportunities.

    Cons

There is a mindset that things are done a certain way, and the only backing for that way is that it's the way it's always been done. Software systems are slow to be updated.

    Advice to Management

    Don't micromanage, embrace technological advances.

I worked at Delta Faucet full-time

    Pros

Lots of over time. Decent pay. Plenty of employee appreciation. Good job security. Have employees lots of opportunity to buy products at a very discounted price.

    Cons

I worked there for several years and worked hard to move up but there was zero job growth. They don't promote from within.

    Advice to Management

Promote from within. Also, there is so much put on the team leaders, but you give them zero authority. That lack of authority makes it hard for employees to take you seriously.

    Pros

people, training opportunities, management support, community service, work/life balance, fun

    Cons

There will always be something to NOT be happy about, but at Delta Faucet I have been given the opportunity to make something better. Innovative thinking is encouraged and there is always a willingness to consider and accept change for the better.

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on people, ALL people, Employees, customers, suppliers, families, vendors...

I have been working at Delta Faucet full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

If you are on salary you are treated like a king with tons of benefits and paid sick leave and great retirement.

    Cons

If you are hourly you are expected to be at work no matter, they don't take doctor statements. There is no retirement plan for hourly workers while salary have both retirement and profit sharing. I will retire with 20+ years soon and will have zero to show for it.

    Advice to Management

Give hourly same sick pay and retirement as salary.

    Pros

They gave us 2 more vacation days off then previous managment.

    Cons

They over work there employees. We get 2 eight minute breaks and 28 minutes for lunch. We have very physical jobs and only one day off a week and 9 to ten hour days is very difficult and very hard on your body.

    Advice to Management

Give employees the weekend off more often.

  9. Watch out for Human Resources. At this plant, Human Resources runs the show.

I have been working at Delta Faucet full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The pros... Having a job allows me money to pay my bills. I have learned where I do not want to work.

    Cons

The cons... "at least I have a job". While this is true, it is definitely not something an upset employee wants to hear when they keep getting jerked around

    Advice to Management

Be honest with your people. Honesty goes a long way with people. If your people trust what yiu have to say, they can respect you and be more understanding when times get tough. Show your people how you would like then to behave.

I have been working at Delta Faucet full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent Pay and Insurance. Occasional free food. Ability to work OT.

    Cons

Training is terrible Very few in management have a clue what is happening on the floor. Time studies are grossly inaccurate in one or two departments. 401k match is mediocre. As long as you're good with team leads you can get away with not working -- leaving the hard workers to carry others. Management very unresponsive to any complaints unless they come from other management. There is very little growth or movement to any better paying positions. 'Unpaid vacation' until you've been at the company for a certain amount of time. If you're on salary, it's a great place with pension, 401k match and plenty of sick and vacation days. If you're hourly, look somewhere else. It's easy to see that salaried employees write Delta's policies in regards to hourly workers.

    Advice to Management

Offer more training or internships to those who are willing and capable to move up. Consider that hourly workers are a backbone of the company and provide them with equal benefits to salaried employees.
