I worked at DenaliTEK as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – This company is amazing. The President/Owner is an excellent leader. He's brilliant, involved, and yet hands off. He knows how to apply many of the best in class metrics for helping his employees and his company grow. Sincere about his employees, no nonsense about his metrics, and absolutely accountable for his outcomes. Great example to others.
And then there's the customers! I have rarely ever had the opportunity to witness first hand such a dynamic, cliet-centric company. DenaliTEK has nailed it. Their customer loyalty is next to none. Their management meetings are all about how to make customers happy. They live, eat, and breath customer satisfaction. It has become their mantra and their culture.
This IT firm literally has more potential for exceptional growth than any other company in its class.
Cons – Company is growing. It's a tumultuous time...but it's also an exciting time. Be prepared to hit the ground running and never get bored.
Advice to Senior Management – Management needs to keep doing what their doing. Great team, great practices, great outcomes.

I worked at DenaliTEK full-time for more than a year
Pros – If you can't find anything else, it'll work for a paycheck. Some decent people work there...not everybody is bad. They support some training and certifications. Good entry level place to work until you find something better.
Cons – Mom and pop operation, big ideas and talk about growth and sales and marketing and mission/vision, but nothing happens. Too many changes in direction from owners and they seem out of touch. Large amount of bureaucracy and very corporate for such a small company. Dysfunctional and uptight. Not much room to grow, ultimately the owners justseem to want the status quo. Other than the owners, nobody has been there from the beginning, or even a very long time, which tells you something. Not a lot of love around the office. Clients can be difficult/impossible, and you must be 'on-call' 24/7 for little pay every fourth or fifth or sixth week, the entire week. Stress can be huge when small business owners are breathing down your neck and projects are haphazard. Trust is not great between ownership and employees, everybody is always on their toes, but not in the good way. Fair amount of drama going on in this place, although it's not apparent at first. Chaos rules despite 'proactive' stance. Superficial relationships. Not much fun
Advice to Senior Management – Not sure if there's any advice that would be truly listened to, which is the fundamental problem. Owners do not truly listen to employees, although they will pretend to and posture to. Meetings are empty 'rah-rah' sessions. Enthusiasm and morale constantly low due to lack of enthusiasm from the owner, which trickles down.

I have been working at DenaliTEK
Pros – Some of the people who work there are good people. Owner seems honest
Cons – No sustained focus, no growth. Owner doesn't seem to know how to deal with his managers or bond the company as a whole. Everybody seems too busy, 'not enough time' is the mantra. Goals are fuzzy. Owner needs to be more involved. High turnover. Everything is crisis driven, despite company slogan about no firefighting
Advice to Senior Management – Not sure the leadership actually cares about advice or feedback unfortunately, although they pay lip service to it
