Great place to work and learn

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGreat camaraderie and collaboration, fun monthly events, and good pay. A lot of opportunity for growth, and I feel like my questions and ideas are heard.

ConsMonthly meetings provide a lot of information about the future of the company, and I would like more of that. The company provides snacks, but sometimes they aren't the healthiest!

    A great place to work

Consultant I (Current Employee) San Antonio, TX

ProsOffice culture, Annual appraisal based entirely on perception, 10-15% raises for meeting expectations

ConsInsultingly low starting salary, no training or support, no attempts at retention, petty personal politics

Great flexible company to work for

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) San Antonio, TX

ProsGood work/life balance with benefits like working from home, 3-hr flex time, adjustable schedules. Lots of free snacks. Culture is very chill, not uptight. Lots of different projects to work on so opportunities for breadth of experience is high. 401K matching by employer.

ConsThere are opportunities for advancement, but feedback on how to advance is generally vague. No sick days, all new hires start out at 15 days of PTO per year with up to 5 days rollable to the next year and get half a day added on per year of tenure.

Secure Applications Developer (Current Employee) San Antonio, TX

ProsIt is a great relaxed environment. Small firm so you never feel lost in the woodwork.

ConsYou may get stuck on a project you are less then passionate about and it is a consulting firm so your time is money.

A good place to get two years' of experience and then get out

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) San Antonio, TX

    ProsFlexible dress code.
OK pay for junior to mid-level developers and security analysts.
    Free snacks and foosball.
    Convenient part of town.

ConsManagers are inept and do not show clear leadership direction.
Layoffs and turnover is ridiculously high--multiple times as many EDGE (Ex Denim Group Employees) as employees for this 40-person company.
    No structure or organization.
    Poor benefits and perks.
Not a place to build a career.

Advice to Senior ManagementHiring is expensive financially and turnover is expensive in all other ways. Reduce both by listening to staff and attempting to keep them so that your turnover stabilizes and good word of mouth of the organization supersedes the company's poor reputation.

    Employees not the top priority

Software Developer (Former Employee) San Antonio, TX

ProsRelaxed environment, low stress, nice people

ConsLow salaries, they will fire people so that they can hire a different person at a lower rate

Advice to Senior ManagementPay better, provide better insurance and benefits.

    Having fun, taking names...

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) San Antonio, TX

ProsThe folks you work with can't be beat - great technical depth as well as a lot of fun. There are some cool perks like working from home, personal time and snacks.

ConsThe office building could be in better shape. It's not my favorite location and the building itself could use a bit of renovation.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep working to improve the benefits. Due to the type of industry we are in, we have the freedom to have a lot of perks!

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
