    I worked at Denny's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The customers and co-workers were the best part of the job. Going to work was easy and enlightening because of the co-workers. I was made acting manager at night because of my being so caring and responsible.

    Cons

    Management was lax in the job and had a favorite shift that was treated better than others. That made for animosity in the workplace and was hard to deal with.

    Advice to Management

    Please be fair to all employees and try to treat everyone alike, even if you have a favorite.

    Flexible, fast pace, opportunity to advance within 6 months to a year 24 hour operation can work with family. Equal opportunity employer

    Cons

    24 hour operation, schedule rotates every 3 months. No 401k. Average work day 10 hours. Employees on call 24/7

    Bad roofs. Uhh unorganized store. Love everything and every body but I am a looking for a management position salaried. Very soon

    Pros

    Customers are friendly, outgoing, employees are easy and fun to work with.

    Cons

    General Management is very unprofessional, curses in front of customers, is very loud while families are trying to enjoy their food. Always yelling at the employees. If she doesn't like you she will make sure your time there is miserable until you have had enough to quit.

    Act more professional

    Pros

    Adequate amount of work, benefits of the job, the culture of the company dealt with have a smile on your face.

    Cons

    The only thing I didn't like about the job was the fact that Getting used to washing the dishes to soon dis-attract you from it. Then you want to become a server.
