I have been working at Denny's full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Decent benefits, flexible shifts, decent bonuses, good food, some of the staff is nice

    Cons

Most of the staff are constantly grumpy, the training process is a joke, they make promises that they don't keep, they overwork the management, they severely under pay the management ( based on the expected 50 hours a week)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The training process needs an overhaul at the store level. They don't have many training stores and the ones they do have aren't even run up to standards. You learn the wrong way to do things before you even start.

    I worked at Denny's full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Usually a decent place to work with decent people. Makes it easy for learning all positions in the restaurant and picking up shifts. Opportunity to advance.
