    Pros

    Friendly guests, easy to learn,free food or half priced,as long as you know your specs store practically ran itself.

    Cons

    Long hours, no benefits that were affordable or worth anything,owner was unprofessional and had favoritism towards the female employees, poor repairs and maintenance of issues that directly impacted guests-clogged drains in foh, really stained and moldy wet carpet. Employees that never got any discipline or back up from bosses regarding employees follow up.

    Advice to Management

    Stay away from these types of businesses, they will take you in and use you up and if you want quality of life, forget it.

    Pros

    The company pays well if employeed in a corporate owned unit.

    Cons

    No regard for employees personal time. District Managers regularly expect you to work on off days while leaving areas short-handed for managers; sometimes for years.

    Advice to Management

    Managers need a quality of life if you expect them to stay with company.

    Pros

    This was my first job I thought I would love it but I didn't. The only con in this whole experience was that I gained work experience every thing else sucked about this job.

    Cons

    You work for hours and don't get paid on time
    You have to call to find out what days you are working
    They hire people knowing that their only going to give them one or two days out of the week
    They withheld my pay check for three weeks straight
    THE MANAGERS TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF YOU WHEN THEY KNOW THAT THIS IS YOUR FIRST JOB

    Advice to Management

    TO MANAGERS THAT I HAD WHERE I WORKED YOU GUYS A RE LOW LIFE'S YOU PRAY ON INNOCENT NEW EMPLOYEES AND TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF THEM I WILL NEVER WORK FOR A DENNY'S EVER AGAIN.

    Pros

    providing great customer service to our guests and to have them come back and request to sit in your station every time , priceless....

    Cons

    corporate and franchise Denny's human resources does nothing to help employees in a hostile environment cause by upper management .

    Advice to Management

    address, respect, treat your employees, your staff the way you would want to be spoken to or treated.

    Pros

    The staff I worked with could be upbeat and positive and people were close to each other.

    Cons

    The management was very biased, they took poor care of my paperwork and confirming very crucial subjects such as pay; tardy policy among other things. As well as one manager Richard Torres mulitiple times would serve food that was dropped on the ground or food that shouldn't have been played at all. The whole operation was very unprofessional, even the owner of the store held catering events that weren't sanctioned.

    Advice to Management

    Act professional. You can't expect your employees to be outstanding if you're putting out a very mediocre, sloppy, and very little effort.

    I meet alot of people who I am still friends with.

    You dont want to work there. Worst place to work.

    This is 2015 stop treating Employees badly. That's why you cant keep good employees.

    Pros

    the money is good, the customers are good, the name brand was good. Food is cheap.

    Cons

    to make more money at the top they eliminated jobs such as bus boys, cashiers, and hostesses. these jobs are now maintained by servers, 2.33 an hour! Leaving less time for servers to bring quality customer attention to guests.

    Advice to Management

    Make customer service a priority again, so many disgruntled employees leaves moral low, noone works as a team. Your greed will be your demise, we are on a sinking ship

    Constant flow of cash
    Building relationships with regulars
    Learning customer service the hard way but quickly
    Shifts easy to work with if you are a student or work two jobs

    Labor laws not followed
    Sexual harassment

    Lead the team by example, be respectful and don't gossip or participate in other bad behavior.
