    I have been working at Denny's part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Fun stuff, decent money at times. Can be very enjoyable.

    Cons

    The night life at this restaurant is terrible. No customers on overnight and leaves for a very boring 8 hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Vary shifts. Stop trying to cut down on labor. Hire am adequate staff. Go for a second restaurant manager.

    Company values, Teamwork, Fun atmosphere, Laid back, Fast paced.

    Cons

    Sometimes you get to busy to complete all task accordingly. Micromanagement. Drunks on graveyard shift.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    There is room to grow within the company. I was there just under a year and I was trusted to perform management duties, and was promoted to a trainer for newly hired servers.

    Discounts on food and free drinks at times you can make good money when not overstaffed.

    Cons

    Long hours management scheduled too many waiters at once so you couldn't get enough tables.

    Pros

    Was pretty slow/easy on 3rd shift--could get by without having great waitressing skills. System for submitting orders to kitchen was user friendly.

    Cons

    There were many rude customers, as I imagine is the case at many restaurants. Many employees do not put forth proper effort.

    the money is good, the customers are good, the name brand was good. Food is cheap.

    Cons

    to make more money at the top they eliminated jobs such as bus boys, cashiers, and hostesses. these jobs are now maintained by servers, 2.33 an hour! Leaving less time for servers to bring quality customer attention to guests.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Make customer service a priority again, so many disgruntled employees leaves moral low, noone works as a team. Your greed will be your demise, we are on a sinking ship
