“Positive Internship Experience”
I worked at Denver Rescue Mission as an intern for less than a year
Pros – Staff are very interested in the mission of the organization; great opportunities for serving the community; interns get to experience a lot of the company; the large intern class allows for interns to see other possible career paths or experiences
Cons – Little intellectual challenge for most position--although that's not the purpose of the company, positive philosophy sometimes doesn't mesh with reality
Advice to Senior Management – Consider the tangible effects of policies (e.g. smoking ban) on serving the greater mission of DRM.

Cons – They run their charity like a business
Advice to Senior Management – cut out the TV service entirely, christian videos or recovery videos only
