I have been working at Department of Education Philippines full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The daily interaction with the students somewhat adds life to my existence. It is exciting to be with children of different backgrounds, different socioeconomic status, and different principles of life. These are some of the things that make teaching so challenging, and bring life's spices in the field of teaching.

    Cons

The students-centered system of education is not really what we observe because of the fact that lack of facilities of learning is still evident in several educational institutions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find ways on how to enhance the educational system and establish the institution more to be student-centered.

I have been working at Department of Education Philippines full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

To be with the pupils; share my knowledge, talk to them, mingle and sometimes get irritated when things went wrong makes my life more worthliving as I continue working with the Department of Education.

    Cons

As part of any government institutions, I still observe corruption, unfairness in employees' promotions (those lives dedicated for the betterment of education hardly been promoted to higher positions but instead promotions always been given to those who do nothing but sit down and talk without teaching).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Minimize corruption. Apply what we learn from our studies for the benefits of the next generation.
