What a great opportunity to work for such an organization an this location.

Watch Person (Current Employee) Detroit, MI

ProsLocation, location, location, the energy is unmatchable.

ConsIt's only a part-time, no benefits. I would like to keep my weekend or evening hours if available, who would not want to work for the BEST Baseball organization in the continental US

Advice to Senior ManagementIf I could give them advice I would not be looking for additional work. I appreciate the opportunity the Detroit Tigers Organizations has extended me, having any job is a blessing having two jobs are true signs of a go-getter, but having benefits are priceless no matter the job. Facing high dental, vision, and medical bills defeat any opportunity to get more out of a paycheck. I recently looked into taking classes at an institution were I could better myself for the job at hand but being able to pay the tuition was my only obstacle. I guess it would be to my benefit to check to see if they have tuition reimbursement.

Grind of a long season tends to keep moral low generally.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Detroit, MI

ProsIt's baseball. Free seats. MLB pension. Annual front office trip to Cleveland or Chicago. Great networking opportunities. Cabrera, Verlander, etc.

ConsThe season is very long. Often work far more than 40 hours per week. Sometimes the budgets are very tight - do more with less.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest in training employees in their areas of expertise. Reward employees that show initiative and work hard. Hold people accountable that are not pulling their weight.
