Pros

...you have not much stress and get a decent compensation package. Clear career path and you get some nice perks such as Bahncard 100.

Cons

Promotion takes a while and salary increases are not very strong. Very conservative working environment with sometimes very little creative freedom.

Advice to Senior Management

I think they are doing a good job given their situation as former state-owned company. Provide more performance-based incentives wherever possible.

Pros

Cool to be working in Europe. My coworkers and boss are incredibly nice, except they always speak in German so it's easy to feel left out. HR planned a fun International intern event for us.

Cons

Working in the engineering department in a small town makes one feel disconnected from the rest of this huge company.

Advice to Senior Management

I know management is currently trying to expand overseas. Deutsche Bahn is going to have to look more outward because its current employees still lack the global vision and cultural sensitivity required to become successfully multi-national.
