I have been working at Deutsche Bank full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Smart, friendly and collaborative colleagues in my area, Fantastic manager that really looks out for his employees while providing solid direction and guidance. Good work/life balance. Many active employee network groups that hold fun events.

    Cons

Very large and inefficient in general. It Takes too many different groups and way too much time to get things done. Very open seating arrangement.

    Advice to Management

None to my direct management as they are doing well. Continue to streamline processes and operations. New CEO now will be interesting to see what he does.

    Pros

Comfortable environment, Great co-workers, Great compensation

    Cons

Long hours, the offer depends on the head count

    Advice to Management

You should have more control internally in the Riyadh office instead of waiting for permission to come from Dubai on every little detail.

    Pros

My immediate colleagues are great and we're making good traction in winning more deals and generating revenue

    Cons

Infrastructure is terrible. Drive for cost efficiency is actually costing more due to delays. It's a nightmare working through the bureaucracy

I worked at Deutsche Bank as an intern

    Pros

During the first week, they put the interns through a week long training program in New York. They broke the interns into groups to determine what areas to focus on, then gave in-depth excel and modeling training, with an exam at the end of the week.

    Cons

Deutsche Bank was in the process of scaling down their Investment Banking business, especially in Commodities Sales and Trading where I interned.

    Advice to Management

Align your intern classes with the anticipated hiring need. Continue to offer the fantastic, in-depth training to interns. Also, it would be helpful if there was a formal intern review process at the conclusion of the internship to assess strengths and weaknesses.
