    Pros

Smart colleagues, collaborative environment,. People care about the quality of their work, our clients.

    Cons

Consensus-driven culture results in slow decision making. Unclear career paths.Senior management out of touch with what's going on in the trenches because managers manage upward.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work with each other to benefit the company as a whole, not just your solutions group. Get better at communicating strategic decisions with clear rationale to the rest of the company. Saying you value innovation is different than actually taking risks to green light and fund innovative ideas. Get more customer input into your products. Reduce complexity and streamline your product offerings.

    Pros

Great team work. Many opportunities to help your clients. Great rewards for sales.

    Cons

Sales mid-level leadership is too focus on managing and not leading. Therefore, many opportunities are missed to have even greater impact.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just becasue someone has been in the sales role for a long time it does not mean they are good leaders.

    Pros

Most people are friendly and nice.

    Cons

Not able to attract or keep top talent due to lack of competitive salaries and career development opportunities. That coupled with uninspired leadership is resulting in high employee turnover.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Talk to people. Stop relying on antiquated surveys and just talk to people. The current quick-win strategy is not working and is resulting is growing foundational problems. Hold people accountable for poor performance, it will pay off.

    Pros

Talented, warm and mentoring employees. Will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Good place for a young professional to learn about corporate environment.

    Cons

Unengaged senior management. Owner unprofessional and out of touch. HR Director operates with his head in the sand. The company has some good products, but does not practice what it preaches. Very flat organization. No room to advance. Favortism is abundant.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring in some fresh blood. Some executives have been there since the companies conception.

    Cons

If you're not an initiator or need to be "managed" by others than you my struggle in getting ahead and making a name for yourself in the organization.

Recognize that your culture is very different than any other organization ( in a good way) and because of that new employees may need more support in adjusting to such a positive work environment.
